US Snake Alley festival to screen Iran animation ‘The Servant’

Iranian director Farnoush Abedi’s animation ‘The Servant’ is to vie at the Snake Alley Festival of Film in the US.

The animation tells the tale of a giant cockroach who gets tired of his servitude to man; a game started with no rules.

‘The Servant’ previously won the Best Animation award at the 33rd Tehran International Short Film Festival held on 8-14 November 2016 in Tehran.

The Iranian animation has also won an award at the 14th London Independent Film Festival in the UK.

The Snake Alley Festival of Film is dedicated to showcasing the best short films from around the world.

The festival is scheduled to be launched on June 21-24, 2017 in the city of Burlington in the US.
